The Regional Monitor Excellence Awards 2007
The Regional Monitor Excellence Awards 2007 have been developed to showcase and celebrate the very best in local innovation and best practice from across the UK. The awards programme will focus national attention on the innovative work being carried out throughout the regions of the UK. Focusing on areas including community regeneration, e-delivery of services and local transport, the awards will highlight the fantastic work going on throughout the country.
Nominations can be made by any MP, local councillor or other employee within a local authority. Nominators can make any number of different nominations in as many categories as they wish.
Entries will be assessed by an expert panel of judges to create a shortlist of three nominations per category. The shortlist will then be voted on by all MPs. Award winners will be announced at a gala evening reception in the Great Hall of One Great George Street, Westminster on Tuesday 30th October 2007.
